Yamna Ramdani MSc read geology at the University of Science and Technology Houari Boumediene (Algiers) from 2010 to 2015. Her main subjects were Petrology and Geochemistry. Her master thesis focused on “The Geodynamic Interpretation of the Morphostructural and Geochemical Data of the Hoggar Volcanism”. In 2015, she started her doctoral degree at the TU Bergakademie Freiberg, Institut für Mineralogie with a thesis on “Stabperlen aus Glas des 18. Jahrhunderts”. She also participated in a BMBF-funded programme “Entwicklung eines Konzepts zur Digitalisierung von Stabperlen aus farbigem Glas des frühen 18. Jahrhunderts, des textilen Verbundes und seiner raumprägenden Bildhaftigkeit (Broderie en Jais)” at Schlossmuseum Arnstadt.
